Re: Science Olympiad Summer Camp
Man, Camp was awesome! I'm psyched for a new year of SO.
I really loved the CSI thing.
I'm a little sad though. I missed team pictures. Does anyone have some from the turquoise team?
p.s. I may have talked my parents into letting me come next year...

yeah, it was great until people started leaving
I am a practitioner of the art of magic known as science.

Alc: Shyesssss.
Your parents are lame if they say you can't go to an EDUCATIONAL Science camp. By the way, I still haven't named my Ninjabear. D: I was thinking chocolate-something to match with your Uh-oh Oreo, but I suck so I can't decide.
Rocket: My feet were killing me and it had stopped being fun. Of course I left. It would have been more fun if people hadn't been complaining about "cheating." They said we were allowed to hide the flag without the pole, and that's what we did! My idea was not cheat, sore losers. Plus, I never got my bandanna back from that. Martin said that he was going to mail me a new one. Sounds like fun.
Really though, next year whoever's in charge of it should do the page of rules in the back of the binder again. Then all the rules will be clear at the start of the game, not half-way through the 3rd one.

Re: Science Olympiad Summer Camp
Ok, clearing things up.
Yes, I, on a small technicality, have the package- it is currently stuck in the Eigenmann office until Monday evening. If I hadn't have had to go into my lab and work for about 4 hours Thursday night (stupid drosophila) then I could have gotten the package to Jerry then, but unfortunately I left before the office opened and got back after they closed.
Sorry I wasn't able to get it to you Friday morning, but my travel schedule changed and I had to leave IU at 6:30am and you were leaving Saturday. I could have left it with Allison Gilliland, but I am not sure if the package would have found its way to you even then, but I never got the chance to get it anyway. If you are back at IU for any reason until the 8th of August feel free to contact me and I can get it to you, otherwise it goes back to theoneandonly after that.
Sorry again for the inconvenience of my schedule that it never worked out, hopefully you and theoneandonly will get it worked out quickly once I am ablt to return it to him.
Oh, and randomly, it's IFLE not ILEX(huh?)...
Other random points that have nothing to do with that:
Capture the flag in the arboretum= awesome. That was probably the best thing I remember (other than the camp inspiring my love of biology and starting me on that path, but that is besides the point). I remember I got stuck in jail and if I so much as breathed (it seemed) Slaven would stare at me and watch me like a hawk. Good times...
And Valpo is NW Indiana- though I have no idea what that was for, thought it would help?

Re: Science Olympiad Summer Camp
Fly labs are incredibly annoying. Especially when you do a lab for like 3 months and then find out that all of your results go against pretty much everything you've learned about biology. And then you have fun writing a whole lab report trying to twist the data so that it looks like you screwed up slightly less than you actually did...Yep.
I'm curious about this package. Does it have something to do with a previous middle school SO device (total guess...)?

And so the cryptic nature of the BFSO team continues....

I know I just posted, but I had to add this.
