Sad story, I was certain that Pi day would occur on Friday. Then, when Friday came, I thought that it must have occurred on Thursday. I blame modern trigonometric calculators for allowing me to forget such a simple number.

That's the best I can do from memory (my school also had a pi-memorization contest for pi day- winner got extra credit or something- but I didn't participate... so that's basically what I absorbed from hearing kids reciting pi obsessively in the hallways).

We had our final PA Math League competition today. (each school does it independently) In honor of Pi Day, after the test was over, we all ate all different sorts of pie! So I did end up doing something.
