Difficult, yes... impossible, nokylg wrote:2 min 30 seconds? Is this a 25 ft gym? I don't see times like that possible in 20 ft gyms.
Last years nationals time was 2:18 in 23 ft and I saw a couple better times in practice at home as well as in Ohio.

Clarification: I have never before witnessed or heard of a 2017 wright stuff plane having a time of between 2:20 and 2:40 in a 15-20ft gym.

My opinion is the best times at Nationals could be in this range. Of course we still don’t know the Nationals ceiling height.

Well, it was a 20-foot gym though it was a very wide gym. It was like 2 gyms put next to each other. Therefore we decided to make not turn as quickly. So it would go up and then take long circles all around the gym as it slowly went down. After going to GVSU for regionals I saw that their gym where we flew the planes were not as wide so I don't think I would've gotten a time of 2:30 at the competition... maybe 2min at max.kylg wrote:2 min 30 seconds? Oh and this was a freedom flight kit which was changed and adjusted a LOT.
