Re: Hovercraft B/C
I use Tamiya connectors that i bought from amazon and i soldered it to the motor and the switches and plugged the connectors into the batteries. I think thats the safest and best way. If you solder things directly to the battery pack then it will be harder to change and less safe I guess. Using connectors are safer also because theres no possibility of shortcircuiting. Tamiya connectors are what i used. I think more batteries use tamiya so if you want to change batteries it will be easier.geniusjohn5 wrote:8.4 v NiMH battery packMattChina wrote:what connector type is your battery?geniusjohn5 wrote:Can anybody provide a link for connectors? The official FAQ's on the soinc website. They take a long time to reply though. If you have a general question, post here and we may be able to give suggestions.cmurthy wrote:Hi,

Re: Hovercraft B/C
I just flipped the switch to stop the hovercraft after it hit the barrier at an invitational.mattruff wrote:Do we have to flip the switch to stop the hovercraft at the end, or does the switch need to be flipped when it hits the cushioned barrier at the end?

You manually turn it off at the end.mattruff wrote:Do we have to flip the switch to stop the hovercraft at the end, or does the switch need to be flipped when it hits the cushioned barrier at the end?

Re: Hovercraft B/C
How have you all managed to solve the craft rotation issue (when your craft slowly rotates along the side until it hits into the wall)?

Re: Hovercraft B/C
I first turn on the hovercraft then i move the batteries around to see where it will balance the weight or I would move around the penny rolls to see where the it would be balanced because I assume the problem is occurring because one side is too heavy.antoine_ego wrote:How have you all managed to solve the craft rotation issue (when your craft slowly rotates along the side until it hits into the wall)?
