Rule 3.c (enclosed track)
Rule 3.c (enclosed track)
Rule 3.c says: The track must not be enclosed at any point. Funnels are not allowed as they are enclosed tubes.
Does this mean that having the ball fall through a hole from one platform to another wouldn't be allowed, as the hole would be considered a tube or enclosure? Similarly, if you build some track with high walls, could you reinforce/stabilize the walls by putting narrow pieces of material periodically between the tops of the walls, or would that also be considered a tube or enclosure?
I recognize this isn't the place for rule clarifications, but wanted to get thoughts. Thanks.

Re: Rule 3.c (enclosed track)
My guess is a ball rolling through a hole from one level to another would not be allowed (same as funnel).
I think that structural supports would be allowed as long as their purpose is not to keep the ball in the track. This has been pretty common from the ones I have seen.
