Completely forgot Auburn is coming this year; I'd rank them 4th. No other out-of-state team has any sort of shot at top 5 overall barring some crazy rise.CaldwellBrownies wrote:
Pretty sure that GSMST will be stacking our A team. Also, are you sure that out-of-state teams will have that little influence on the competition?

Re: Georgia 2018
Brookwood results. The first score is point score excluding builds and Game On, the second includes them (except Mission which wasn't run), and then the number of 1st-5th.
1. Brookwood A (92/132 - 7/1/2/4/1)
2. Chattahoochee A (153/162 - 2/3/5/1/0)
3. GSMST Blue (157/204 - 1/2/0/3/3)
4. Milton Red (195/294 - 1/0/2/2/2)
5. Brookwood B (206/258 - 2/4/2/1/0)
6. Johns Creek A (221/276 - 1/3/1/0/0)
7. Westminster A (281/375 - 0/1/0/2/0)
8. Chattahoochee C (292/407 - 0/1/0/0/2)
9. Northview A (297/358 - 1/0/0/1/0)
10. Chattahoochee B (297/425 - 0/0/2/0/0)
The full scores show a more useful picture.

Re: Georgia 2018
I guess this was payback from Hooch to GSMST after Forsyth Central. However, Brookwood is far ahead in scores, and I guess Hooch and GSMST will have to think of something else to beat them because right now they are dominating

Re: Georgia 2018
The interesting thing about BISOT was that the top 3 schools dominated much less. It felt as if other schools placed highly in a variety of events. Sure felt a lot better than expecting Brookwood/Chat/GSMST to place 1st in every event.

Re: Georgia 2018
As announced at the awards ceremony at Brookwood yesterday, the state tournament date for Div C is March 31st. Also, the UNG-Dahlonega regionals has been canceled - I'm guessing due to inability to acquire buildings or problems with bureaucracy (not certain though).

Yeah, Brookwood seemed a lot weaker than in past years. I'm not sure how much of that was pressure from other teams.josephhzhang wrote:The interesting thing about BISOT was that the top 3 schools dominated much less. Re: Georgia 2018
Unome where do you think Brookwood and Chat will compete for regionals now that Dahlonega is cancelled?
