In the 2018_Official_Herpetology_List, under the Family: Scincidae there is one Genus: Eumeces, many of the Eumeces where moved to the Genus: Plestiodon. Most of the nations skinks are in the plestiodon genus. Should it be Plestiodon and Eumeces or should it just be the current Eumeces which there are only 4 of?

Emydoidea is actually a genus (despite the naming convention that would imply a superfamily). It was originally part of another Emydidae genus (Malaclemys if I remember correctly) but is generally now considered separate, meaning that that Malaclemys is now monospecific.Avalanche wrote:Emys is a genus in the family Emydidae.
