Sorry for triple posting, but the National Proctors are revealed! We can now expect what the track will look like. The national proctors are as follows: Audrey Carson from Ohio University and Andy Hamm from the Boyceville Community School District in Wisconsin.

Here is a very reasonable prediction for what the track will look like. (Reasonable considering the National Proctor posted it!): https://twitter.com/audcarson/status/685113256814379008
Build score of 49.88/50 at Nationals!? Slacker!

Glancing at the rules I would say there is no punishment. In Wind Power, the construction portion of the rules specifies teams may bring one blade assembly, so bringing two could be considered a construction violation. In Hovercraft, on the other hand, neither the construction nor competition sections of the rules specify that only one vehicle may be brought, so I don't think it could be counted as a construction or competition violation.

Of course, the description states that each team may bring a vehicle, so you should only be bringing one vehicle anyway. As far as I know there is no punishment for bringing two, you just won't be allowed to use one of them.

Don't fret cheese! I may see you there! You'll know who I am, once I turn on my craft. My craft has a tendency to give people stitches..... including me and my building coach! It's extremely loud, to say the least.
Ohh yes I think I remember yours. Were you in the first time slot? We were the third team in the front row at 8:15. We ended up getting max weight with 19.5 out of 21 time score.

Ouch. My hovercraft went 13 seconds (my partner wanted to test a 5 second run first, using up one of our successful runs. We got 14th tho. It felt like we did badly on that test lol. Btw we also had max mass.

I felt a lot of people had maximum weight as if you had a strong enough motor it was pretty easy to get.

The time, on the other hand, seemed hard to get. I did get a good time (19.67 sec on 120m/20s), but my partner and I did poorly on the test (left 9 questions blank), but yet I still got 6th. So this shows that either the test was actually hard or people had a hard time getting a good time score.

Did you guys think that the track was level? The event supervisors told me that it was perfectly level but when I measured it with my level it seemed to be sloping up.

aaand one of the div c tracks was more narrow at the beginning so it started suuuuuuuper slow and ALL of a sudden accelerated rapidly.

Wait really? That happened to our craft, but i thought it was just because my craft didn't go straight, and the friction against the wall was slowing it down.
i'll work on my events eventually

Ya at first I thought it was our craft but the guy was like no it's because ur craft is too wide and because the track isn't perfectly parallel that happensp

Our time was pretty off, could have been worse. Nice tracks tho, they were very cool
