Oh yeah my bad was more around 1.8-1.9, I just launched it above a table.Orion66 wrote:Errr...are you sure you mean 1.4? Since that's shorter than the height of a lot of people... I myself am 1.7 meters tall. I don't think a 1.4 meter ceiling would be usable.Bazinga+ wrote:Recently got 1:58 on a 1.4 meter ceiling (tested at my house) and 200 winds under the rubber's max. Judging off how slowly it descended (6-7 sec per meter), it should get around 2:40 on my schools 7 meter gym ceiling (can probably reach 3 minutes on a 10-11 meter ceiling).
But regardless, impressive time!

Re: Helicopter Flight Times
Depends. How high was the ceiling? And did the helicopter get stuck at any point?howlishot wrote:so I saw a flight at an Ohio invitational that was almost 4 minutes.. what do y'all think
If the ceiling was very high, then approaching 4 minutes is quite easy, just requires fine tuning that I never do.
If the helicopter got stuck at any one point, then throw it out, its a farce.

Re: Helicopter Flight Times
Agreed. I think it's safe to say that if it got this time not on an insane ceiling (17-20+ m) then it probably just got stuck.AznPr0d1gy wrote:Depends. How high was the ceiling? I think someone mentioned this before on the other Helicopter subsection. Something about it being 230 secondsBazinga+ wrote:Agreed. Re: Helicopter Flight Times
If it gets 4 mins then someone must have a lot of money in infrastructure... or event supervisors didn't read the rules enough.
