Re: AP Classes
I took Human Geo for a semester in HS, twice. (I took the first semester twice and both times my schedule got changed and I had to move out of it second semester).
I ended up taking it for a core credit last semester in college, I'd definitely recommend that over something like World Geo.

Re: AP Classes
Human Geo wasn't too hard. Just do the homework and you should be set for the test.

Re: AP Classes
I actually took AP Human Geo my senior year without having taken a class. I got a small test study book, looked over the concepts and studied the vocab for a couple weeks, and wound up with a 5. Since I'd taken Euro and US History by that point, I had more than enough background to be prepared for the test. So, take what you will from that.

Re: AP Classes
So I was thinking of taking AP world, AP Bio, and AP Calc (AB or BC), how much strain is that?

Re: AP Classes
For the AP Calculus AB and BC:
The class should not be that bad at all. Based on my idea of Calc AB/BC, you shouldn't have more than 1 hour of homework on a normal night.
With studying of materials AND the test itself, YOU CAN AND WILL get a 5 on the test. To get a 5, you need a 65% (no typo there-here's some proof). MC's aren't that bad, and FR's generally cover the same ideas.
If you want more info about the test or class, I'd be happy to provide it

Re: AP Classes
I think for AP classes, it really depends on the teacher. No AP class is easy if you work for a 5 at the end of the year, but some classes are easier because of how the teacher teaches. Past that, it's just how comfortable you are with the material.

Re: AP Classes
(On the subject of AB/BC Calc)
If you're any bit mathematically inclined I'd go for BC. It's basically AB+Extra Material, so the worst case is you can take the AB test instead of the BC test at the end of the year, but the BC test is, in my experience, twice the credit of the AB test (1 class vs 2).
Unome, it's really hard to say without knowing more about your personal study habits, etc. I'm going to assume they're pretty good, so that sounds just fine. I think the most I took in a year was Physics C (E+M + Mech), Calc BC, Chemistry, US History, and English Language, I also took the Spanish Language course that year but didn't take the test. I believe that year I ended up with 5 5's and a 4, so there's that. I know of a couple kids that took more tests than I did (things like Environment Science and self study stuff), but that was about the limit for actual classes at my school.
