I usually don't do common name..I'm always confused by WHICH common name they're asking for..
Diptera, Tipulidae, crane fly? That is what you mean by common name righttt?

Coleoptera: Buprestidae: emerald ash borer; they are harmful to the environment by burrowing into and eventually killing ash trees, thus the common name. My town just got them :D
