Re: Cell Biology C
function of peroxisome: convert H2O2 into something useful(or not harmful) to the body?? i believe the formula is 2H2O2---> 2H2O and O2?
and the organ that uses it is the liver

Re: Cell Biology C
1. Alpha structures have a cis configuration between the OH and the CH2OH group, while beta structures have a trans configuration between the two groups?
2. I don't know any other structural differences but molecules of alpha structured glucose link up to form starch whereas molecules of beta structured glucose makes up cellulose.

Re: Cell Biology C
the first reason is correct!!
The second one im looking for is that alpha glucose is largely helical while beta glucose is straight and unbranched.
kk ur turn!
