"Don't fix what ain't broke" -that one guy

If the only problem is that a few people are frustrated that their events get called too early, and that problem is going to exist no matter what order the events go in, then there isn't a problem, and any changes will merely result in confusion and chaos.

okay, so this is my first year at nationals,(YAY!) and I'm really excited/nervous for everything. could any of you possibly describe to me what it's like?

note - my school has gone for like 5 years in a row so it's nothing new for the rest of my team.
research is what I'm doing when I don't know what I'm doing.

Then how do we improve ;)
Never argue with an idiot, they will drag you down to their level and then beat you with experience.

Um in my past experience its really awesome. Take states and make it 10 times bigger and more intense. The thing I love about it is just being with the top teams from around the nation and knowing that all the students have the same passions as me. I know a huge part of what makes it so much fun is all the time spent with your team and all the things you do after the competition (disney world anyone?). Its a good way to end the season by spending a week with your team knowing that all the time spent led to this moment.

Those of you who frequent the forms may have heard of the situation with the Ward Melville High School team being disqualified from the New York State Tournament due to a missed due date that was in no way the fault of the students or coaches. To commemorate the fact that they had a very high chance of attending the national tournament and that they didn't deserve the treatment they received, the Paul Gelinas Junior High School team, which is the Junior High that funnels into WMHS, will be wearing t-shirts that have a WM logo on the sleeves. We will also bring 1200 rubber wristbands that will be handed out for free with the inscription "Ward Melville SciO Passion for Science"
Looking forward to anatomy, protein, fossils, and optics (NYS trial) this year!

I'm glad that the Ward Melville situation will be recognized at Nationals. I sure wish I could be there.

I remember there was a frozen yogurt shop near the awards area that was really yummy. A lot of teams like cville, wwps, and us went there after the awards ceremony.
