Yes. However, I don't see the room numbers for the event–just the team rooms.caseyotis wrote:http://newyorkscioly.org/SOPages/StateScheduleC.htmlsamir1996 wrote:Hello. Does anyone know if the room numbers for the NY State Competition are posted? I can't find them on the website anywhere. Thanks!

Erm...
I'm not sure about that. If it's not on the website, I'd assume that it's not up at all.

People graduate and move on. A similar thing happened to the PA thread, which was kinda sleepy until very recently. So nobody really moved away, just the active posters of the past are no longer active because they are no longer in SO.blockhead wrote:Wow Back in the day New York was all over this site. What happened? Did everyone move away?

Re: New York 2014
I don't know if anyone heard the news, but it looks like Ward Melville will not be competing at the state tournament this year.
The district sent out the paperwork a day late and Mr. Miller is now refusing to let the team compete. We've tried appealing, but we've had no luck so far. There's still a glimmer of hope that we can appeal to the board and reverse the decision, but chances are slim.
The team is devastated. All that hard work down the drain, and the kids don't even get the chance to defend their position as NY state champions.
It's a really sucky situation.

No. NY runs C States first, then B a month later.Crazy Puny Man wrote: Did the same thing happen to Paul J. Gelinas?

I believe I discussed with gneiss how I feel about this Ward situation...I'll just say sounds quite odd, but I guess we'll just see how this resolves.
