Does that mean the last 5 places all get 0 points?

No, if they are DQed, or don't participate they get 0. If they participate, the last 6 places all get 1 point. This system has been in place since we've been doing SO here (last 10 years). I don't know the history. Our regional uses a similar scoring system.

1) can we glue magnets in one of our 1 pint container and still have it a "legal" contaner to get bonus points?
2) if it is legal to add magnets then is it legal to cut holes out of the bottom of the 1 pint contaner to allow unwanted things to flow fhrough?
You could always add magnets to the outside of the container

We are working on dremeling down the sides of ours from about 32x32x32cm, although we don't really see how one or two of the dimensions can get smaller than 30cm if you're attempting the sorting bonus task (our pint containers themselves are 12cm tall and have an almost 10cm diameter). We weren't even able to incorporate all the energy transfer tasks into our 32x32x32 device along with the pint containers.

http://nelson-haha.api-meal.eu/ There is no set way to do it. That's what makes mission such a hard event to master.

That seems impossible lol

Yeah, I should be getting something similar: 20x20x30, perfect sort & time, all transfers but 1 EMS...the trick & challenge is going to be making it reliable.

So completing a circuit mechanically to trigger flow of current, that will count as mech -> elec?
It's confusing since the mechanical energy does not convert to electrical joule to joule, but the mechanical energy activates the electrical?

(I submitted a rule clarification, but not sure when/if they'll get back)
