Re: Mission Possible C
No, if they are DQed, or don't participate they get 0. If they participate, the last 6 places all get 1 point. This system has been in place since we've been doing SO here (last 10 years). I don't know the history. Our regional uses a similar scoring system.iwonder wrote:Does that mean the last 5 places all get 0 points?

Re: Mission Possible C
You could always add magnets to the outside of the containerMiguelm15 wrote:Can some one help me I have two things I am not clear about.
1) can we glue magnets in one of our 1 pint container and still have it a "legal" contaner to get bonus points?
2) if it is legal to add magnets then is it legal to cut holes out of the bottom of the 1 pint contaner to allow unwanted things to flow fhrough?

20cmX20cmX20Cm, Every Transfer but 2 ElectroMagnetic, Perfect Sort, Perfect Time.JTMess wrote:How large are your missions right now?
We are working on dremeling down the sides of ours from about 32x32x32cm, although we don't really see how one or two of the dimensions can get smaller than 30cm if you're attempting the sorting bonus task (our pint containers themselves are 12cm tall and have an almost 10cm diameter). We weren't even able to incorporate all the energy transfer tasks into our 32x32x32 device along with the pint containers.

http://nelson-haha.api-meal.eu/ There is no set way to do it. That's what makes mission such a hard event to master.Cheese_Muffin_Man wrote:how that small?twisty14 wrote:20cmX20cmX20Cm, Every Transfer but 2 ElectroMagnetic, Perfect Sort, Perfect Time.JTMess wrote:How large are your missions right now?

Re: Mission Possible C
Yeah, I should be getting something similar: 20x20x30, perfect sort & time, all transfers but 1 EMS...the trick & challenge is going to be making it reliable.

Re: Mission Possible C
So completing a circuit mechanically to trigger flow of current, that will count as mech -> elec?
It's confusing since the mechanical energy does not convert to electrical joule to joule, but the mechanical energy activates the electrical?
(I submitted a rule clarification, but not sure when/if they'll get back)
