At every invite I have been to they have given us an ample amount of solution. The least has been a 100 ml graduated cylinder, but obviously that was enough.
Probably just a proctor not knowing too much about testing.

At regionals a while ago, there were containers with different amounts of solution in them. However, none of them had as low a level as the level you're describing. The containers were at the least filled with 100 mL of solution, though. Your situation seems pretty bad haha

At my regional, the amount of water given was ridiculously small. It was in a little vial, probably about 10-20mL. The electronic salinometer doesn't need that much water, but I don't think anyone else could test theirs either. So I don't know.

I don't think something like that would be given at states, though.

No, definitely not. I was surprised that it was the regional.

Well, I certainly was. I feel like regional tournaments should be run well because there's a lot on stake.

Should be run well, yes, but luck would have it that they will give you a test on last years rules.

OH, didn't happen to me at regionals, but it happened at an invite. I'm just saying that proctors can be oblivious...
