So do they count California as one state or do they have North California and South California and have 2 state competitions for one state? (confusing, I know)

I believe they're separate, I just looked at the wikis and they have different teams down for state champ.

I'm guessing that the reason for that is because California is so big. If that's the reason then what's up with Texas?

Because it isn't for geographical size, it's based on population. We have so many people that it has to be seperated.

And no, I'm not a guy...even though my sig says will robsinson. It's a reference to Lost in Space, an ancient sci fi TV show. And the robot is the character who always says the line.
