Hi l'm in NY and this is my first year on this event  . So as l understood l need one viscometer for the event but you suggest to make 2, one for slow viscosity and one for faster viscosity liquids, right?

Another question is, l can take a paper with anything written so can l write nutrition information on that paper like CHOs, proteins etc. for the test section of the event?

Thank you in advance!! :P

Yes I will make 2 different viscometers, like pictureperfect said. And yes, you can take any notes. Hope that helps :D

I don't think the 2 viscometers are REQUIRED, I think that it's just listed as a suggestion. But as long as you're using the same one(s) at home to time and at the competition, you'll be fine.

Yes, you can take as many notes as you want ("A binder of notes"). If you have a lot of notes, you may want to have an index to it's easier to locate your notes. After all, you don't want to waste time looking for the notes you need.

The slideshow on the National site explains one way to do this on slides 35 and following. Note that you need to use the some or all of the standards in this year's rules and delete ones according to the Rules Clarification.

SO..how did you guys do your viscometer? We did ours, and it was sufficient, but we're looking for ways to improve it!

What ingredient do you add to make Benedict's reagent into Biuret's reagent?
