Just...no. And nobody reply to this part of my post lest that happen.thsom wrote:Indeed, just imagine what would happen if we had a comment war...

Actual IL related question: I don't remember from last year, around when are trial events released? It always seems to be later than other states for some reason.

Well, the national rules have been released already (as of a couple of days ago) if that's what you mean.

We start up Science Olympiad after Cross Country, or tryouts begin in mid to late October, and results are up by November.

I think it's the new location for Plank Regionals. It's the same day Plank Regionals would be - 1st Sat in March - and IMSA went to Plank Regionals.
Oh and I feel bad for people who are on The Learning Vine SO team. They share a name with multiple preschools.

Re: Illinois 2013
If anyone needs any help with Reach For The Stars or Experimental Design, please ask me! (I took national medals in both, so I know them back and forth)^.^
I could help with Mission Possible also, but I am sure it is going to change drastically this year.
I'm probably not doing SciOly this year >_>, but I am probably going to State to watch my brother compete. Let's try another meet up!

Hey, wolfy! Why are you done? Too many other activities on your plate? You don't have to answer that...anyways, good to see you're still around. Seems like a lot of people like sticking around even after their time.
Oh, and congrats on your Nationals winnings. I don't think I've had a chance to say so, yet...
And meet-up fail: I watched yo' Mission, and you walked right past me after you cleaned up. I thought about interrupting you and introducing myself, but you looked like you were on a 'mission'. So, that probably would've been a bit much

Re: Illinois 2013
Hey wolfy, you're alive!
Anyways, I'd like to second Skink. Is it just because high school is so busy (yeah, I'm feeling you) or is it because of something else?
And well, meet up was a disaster. Especially when you guys shot down my idea for nametags
I think we should do nametags this year...at least at State level (That is, if I ever get a team and make it that far...)
