A Shadow Of Doubt
In the shadow of the moon.
In the darkness of the night.
Men march blindly towards their doom.
Never again to see the light.
The guards of heaven shut their gates.
Leaving mortals to their fates.
It is a time for hero’s but there are none.
Like a swarm of flies darkness comes.
Evils struggle has at last been won.
The time of free men seems now done.
Now evil is marching on heavens gates.
A giant army filled with hate.
The gates open shining bright.
A brilliant army clothed in light.
The force of darkness did not stand a chance.
Evil once again swept from the lands.
The earth lies ravaged deaths are great.
I wonder why heaven came so late.
As I wander I fail to understand.
Why victory is proclaimed across the land.
Many years past the land does heal.
But the great ones failed us I do feel.
