Yeah, I saw that, but I did not participate. It looked okay I guess, but it did not interest me at all.

I think they should instead just run the building events longer since they are practically "graded" once all testing is done and then there would be something to do for a while after other events had ended.

Are you saying that maybe in the morning are study events, and in the afternoon, while the study event tests are being graded, the building events happen? If that is what you're saying, then I think that's a good idea. People always enjoy watching building events, and the large gap between the end of the competition and the awards ceremony would be virtually eliminated.

Yeah, but the people still have to come up w/ where every1 placed, + where the team placed, + prepare the medals, etc...

There's a lot of organization involved,

+ not every1 does building events.

While the building events are going on they would be doing this for the study events, and most building events at least at states, now use a computer to score, so they know the winners instantly.

But even if you don't do building events, I would think that most people want to see their teams building events.

That sounds awesome, but it would probably lead to a lot more scheduling conflicts for study events. :(

It would probably take longer, + the people who live far away would take forever to get home. :(

Yeah, that's true. Actually, the more I think about, this idea wouldn't work at all.

We take two days off to get there. If we didn't, we'd have to get up around 1 in the morning.
