It is a proven fact that humans can read words as long as the first and last letters are the same. The letters in the actual word can be a complete mess. Re: nerd test
I just rediscovered this. Amazing how tech changes in less than three years; >= 3GB of RAM is now standard on computers, your current IP address is easily googlable, Macs are extremely common (especially in Silicon Valley, heart of the nerd world), and Chrome is now mainstream. Re: nerd test
Incorrect, for the most part. "As long as the first and last letters are the same." This implies that you can use completely different letters and it will still work. Nerds aren't lazy. True nerds go back and fix all spelling errors.KittenPsychology wrote:It is a proven fact that humans can read words as long as the first and last letters are the same. Re: nerd test
92%, but I said BASIC wasn't a programming language (and it's not) when I think it wanted me to say assembly wasn't one (which it is... sort of).
I also took a wild guess about the RAM in my computer, seeing as how all that matters to me is knowing that it isn't enough.
Unfortunately, it didn't ask me if I could solve a Rubik's cube, though, which as we all know would instantly put me in the 99th percentile of nerdiness because I can do it intuitively. It also didn't ask for any Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy or Monty Python references, which means this is a bad test of nerdiness.
If I tried, I'm certain I could have made 100% on that.
