Are motors allowed to be running after the completion of the final task, and are pulleys allowed to be used to reduce friction/create a mechanical advantage on task 4.l (The requirements listed are, "Special Task: Pull a mass up a ramp at least 10 cm (vertical), causing the next action.")
Submit official clarifications on both of those. However, in general, if the rules do not explicitly prohibit something, it is allowed (which should answer both of those questions).

You know something Chalker? You should write "This is not the place for official clarifications, simply opinions" or something like that in your signature =P

I just figured this out. I'm sure everyone already knew this but, the tasks(excluding starting and final tasks) don't have to be completed in the order on the rules. I feel like such a dummy now :p

What about the paddle-style wheel? We're wondering if scoops or cups on the wheel would be okay. Would it still be considered paddle-style? err...uh

Submit an official clarification.

That being said, I see nothing in the rules explicitly prohibiting scoops and cups.

So... quick question on the wording if the rules. They state, and I quote:
d. Hazardous spills, flames, liquids, and hazardous materials [...] are not permitted.
So, does this mean, no "hazardous liquids or no liquids?
Please help me on this.

Submit an official clarification.
That being said, it would be very strange, grammatically to list hazardous twice in a sentence under your interpretation.

I'm curious what you are thinking of using a liquid for. When we were creating the tasks we explicitly tried to avoid anything that might need a liquid.
