The USDA fact sheet for the Balsam Fir says "There are about 60,000 seeds in a pound." Does anyone know what this means?

I doubt it means that each weighs 1/60,000 of a pound - that would make each seed weigh about .0076 grams
2010: 5th in NYS

I think that is exactly what it means.
I am the Lorax. I speak for the trees. I speak for the trees, for the trees have no tongues.

7.6 mg seems reasonable. A quick google search indicates that snowflakes are in that weight range too.

Will tests have hardiness zone on them? And will you actually memorize the hardiness zones (I'm not saying that it's hard, but it's just extra work).

Sibley actually has the hardiness zones map on the inside cover, and every hardiness number is given for every species.

audubon, i will admit, is great for all info. but the format, with two books for the whole north american continent, might be a problem, since michigan might not have a state list?
