Scioly Assassination 80: The Wretched Wraith

[Assassinator]

As night fell it came.
It came to kill.
It came to destroy.

1. The police officers will be the next five people who post. Put in a bit of thought before posting. If you have not been around for awhile, it is less likely that you will be able to identify me.

2. People will die. However, there are some exceptions. I will not kill administrators or moderators. In return, I ask that they not reveal my identity. However absolutely ANY other individuals may be targeted from the forum.

3. Once a police officer has made three incorrect accusations, he may not accuse or protect anyone.

4. The assassin will provide clues which plainly point to his next victim, and occasionally to himself.

5. The assassin will continue to post with his true account, and may provide hints there.

6. The assassin will write entertaining and mildly gruesome accounts of his kills.

7. When accusing someone of being Assasinator you must use the following template "I accuse (place name here) because (give reason here)." If you don't use this template when accusing, the accusation won't count.

8. Once "killed," a user may not make any statements about the identity of the Assasinator.

9.Non-players may post on this thread, but they may not aid the officers in any of their duties.

10. All Protects must use the format "I protect [name] because [insert reasons]. If they do not fit this template they do not count. All protects must be submitted within 48 hours of the clue.

11. The Assasinator reserves the right to add to or change these rules as he deems necessary.

I don't really feel like playing, but I don't think the old rules are working out well... the combination having officers who aren't as good as clue solving as the officers 1-2 years ago, and the sassy giving old style clues the officers weren't used to... well it was bad. I fundamentally think the new rules make for a fairer game. Nothing wrong with using the old rules for a few rounds, I just don't want a new precedent of using the old rules to be implemented.

The big thing though, and the past two rounds have really showed this, is that clue explanations should be done in game. I really think thats the only way to make sure they are fair.

I very much like the new rules, but I can deal with the old rules as long as the clues are solvable(but like random said, don't let this become a precedent)
And I do agree, now, that clue explanations should be given at the time of the kill
