Sorry, incorrect. The Eastern Hemlock cones have more rounded edges and the scales aren't as straight.

Sorry, incorrect. The scales are too vertical (if you know what I mean) to be a hemlock.

Actually I didn't even quote (Or look at) his post.. I used a dichotomous key to find the answer.
