Site features? [2]
We recently added the Image Gallery, as some of you have noticed.
With that in mind, what other kinds of stuff would be useful to have?
Don't think the forum is really in need of any changes at the moment...so suggestions for new stuff or related to the [wiki][/wiki] and Image Gallery would be particularly welcome...

If I get bored I might put together a past Nats results section on the wiki

Oh yeah, i asked that. I remember DarkSabre saying that it would be hard to moderate. My question is - how so? Like is there physically no way to moderate it? or do you just not have the time to look through all the comments?

Re: Site features? (again)
I enabled comments in the Scrambler album to show you at least what they would be like.

The moderation challenge is that there's no indication that comments are being made except to go to every album (and no way to tell which pictures have new comments).
I doubt there would be enough comments to make looking through them a problem, if there was some indication that there were comments to be looked through. Moderation is edit/delete and there's no approval queue.

Re: Site features? (again)
I'm still waiting for my "Nuke User" button to be added to my user control panel. As noted by my "Joined date", it's been nearly seven and a half years.
Get hot.

Oh please, don't give Matthew the nuke user option. I would be the first to go for still calling him NF.

Nah, I think he secretly still prefers the NF title.

Darn it, hurry up DarkSabre! I've already got two new targets...
In all seriousness, much props to the coding and admin team around scioly.org. What you do isn't easy, and brings a lot of fun and usefulness to a lot of people. Keep it up!

Happy New year...we have comments.Pleiades wrote:Oh yeah, i asked that. I remember DarkSabre saying that it would be hard to moderate. My question is - how so? Like is there physically no way to moderate it? or do you just not have the time to look through all the comments?
If you look at the Image Gallery index, at the bottom there is now a listing of the most recent comments (which are rather frivolous at the moment).
So...users can check for responses easily and mods can also see if they need to beat someone. There's no approval queue. Hopefully it will be useful.
gh also gave the FLV videos an icon, so they don't look broken anymore.
