I got 3 thirds out of my 4 events.... I just could NOT break third. In addition, my team got third overall, so that's 4 third pace medals... /frustration (unless the trend continues at states haha) but half of our team will be in boston during states because of a band trip. bringing 8 people to states isn't so awesome.

I really wish our regionals were more organized. We went to an invitational in Ohio where you had to sign up for the build events like helicopter, mission possible, etc. online before the competition, so all the timing issues were figured out. Here it's basically a first-come first-serve basis for sign-ups, and we have a really small team, so if we don't get the time that we want for even one event, our whole day is screwed up.

Results from region 12 division C; points are for only 22 events, since sumo bots was a trial:
1st place - Grand Haven, 43 points
2nd place - West Ottawa, 120 points
3rd place - Grand Rapids Christian, 124 points
4th place - Grandville, 131 points
5th place - Plymouth Christian, 137 points
6th place - Allendale, 178 points

The only B results I know are that White Pines Middle School got 2nd and Lakeshore Middle School got 5th.

For B, Jension took 1st and Grandville took 3rd.

I took 1st in Optics, 1st in WIDI, 2nd in Astronomy, 4th in Experimental Design, and 8th in Forensics... I was disappointed with Forensics but the gold medals cheered me up. I beat Grand Haven at least twice! I don't know how I compared to them in the other events...
