Is there a summer Science Olympiad? If the is I really want to join/do it. I hope it isn't too expensive tho. Almost all summer camps here are overpriced...

Re: Is there a summer Science Olympiad?
Let's see. . . all the build events, almost all of the other events. Tons of resources to take home. Big Ten college labs & materials. A week of dorm life and family-style dining-- all you can eat, and choices. Pranking, of course, NEVER occurs,
but strange stuff happens to me on a regular basis.
One absolutely killer game of Capture the Flag under near combat conditions (I look like an 8-ball when I put on grease paint). Police looking for us on occasion. First Aid required of all us personnel, and for a good reason. "Umm, Uncle Fester needs the REALLY BIG first aid kit" was once heard over the radio. Side trips to nearby state park. Plus, for most, it's their first time traveling on their own. An airport run with me is an adventure; trust me-- stops at bookstores, restaurants, and I then tell Tina, "Traffic, honest!" It would be nice if someone took the train to Indianapolis, because it's a 5:30 AM arrival and I'm the only staffer who knows where the station is.
Looks like I'm working Middle School week, and a day or two of High School week-- sorry, but work isn't cooperating as much as I would like it to.
