So how does pentathlon work I've never heard of it :/ (this is only my second year in olympiad)

it combines athletics (barely) with science. 4 people relay, each person does one physical activity (jump rope, shoot a basket, use a frisbee to knock something down, etc.) and at the end of your leg of the relay you answer a question about any science topic. I beasted at it ;]

It was not anywhere near physically challenging enough to prevent obesity lol. It was just a fun event, out of the ordinary Science Olympiad

wow that's complicated. Well my partner and I use a lot of degrees, and the most important thing I found was to keep your partner oriented, when you change perspective, make sure you let your partner know.

x,y,z coordinate plane is a good way to do it.

I'll definitely keep that in mind, but my partner and I aren't too great at the xyz coordinate plane. We already tried it and it was horrible. We're both in precalc, but still ... no can do.
