Remember Tennis balls have fuzz on them which could add extra drag.

well the drag could be in any direction, this event can come down to cm and the drag could cause the ball to curl just a cm too far left.

Drag is the force that opposes motion through a fluid. By definition, it can only act in the opposite direction of the motion of the projectile. If you are curling to the left, it is because your launcher is imparting a spin, not because of the type of ball.

Well maybe not drag but what I'm talking about is like have you ever thrown a baseball that's scuffed up or cut? It flutters, that's way some pitchers cheat and cut them themselves so as to get more action on the ball like wind resistance that catches the extrusion. I just don't think Tennis balls are a good choice for a few reasons ok?
