I'm pretty sure NorCal held their State competition at a High School last year and plans to do the same this year. I would have to say it's no easy task to find a site to host the competition, even in CA

I'm from SoCal and around the Orange/LA area, and I think our Regionals are at a university, but our State's at Canyon High. But the Nationals are at a university, right?

Nationals are at the University of Wisconsin in Madison, Wisconsin.

How many teams will go to state this year? My team got 10th place; is that enough?

Well, I don't know about any other Regionals, but I know that for OC, the top 6 go to State. I don't think that placing 10 would get you to State, but I'm not sure, so you should ask your coach or something to confirm.

How many teams are in Orange County? There's 36 in LA.

Uumm... I think there's around 20 (more or less) in the OC area.... so, if you calculate out the percentage, there's 30% of the teams going to State, so if it's the same with LA, then around 12 will be going? Approximately? So I guess if you got 10th place, then you would get to State. Wow... that sounds like a lot of teams going to State.... But again, I recommend that you check with your coach or Regionals coordinator.
