Does anyone know a good way to make a bottle rocket stay in the air a long time, or any tips on a sort of glider that would make the time between the beginning of the drop and contact with the ground shorter.
There are tw types of fins. Shorter fins will get you up higher, but larger ones will help you fall slower. So you have to decide also what you wan tin a rocket. Also, I have found that the winning rockets always yous a cardboard tube that's about 2.5 feet long instead of a cone.

I went whale watching once. It was very similar to watching a group of dissapointed people on a boat.
