Here's a big idea:
An "adult" section of the website to discuss moral issues relating to things such as religion, which we can't talk about here.

And, what, pray ask, would we set as the cutoff?

Div? I promise you some B are more mature than some C.

We can't just pick and choose: You're in, you're not, etc, unless we set up some sort of distinguished members only forum?

I think that an initial cutoff should be set at C, then some B members could "apply" to get in. What I envision is a place where we can debate, but not get up into each other's faces and curse each other out- the way most of my "debates" (Okay arguments) in school end.

The issue here is that you don't seem to regard the entirety of this site as the "adult section" to begin with.

I'm not sure what you consider adult topics, EAST, but the way I'm picturing it I'm pretty sure we'd all die or something if we talked about "adult topics" on chat. There are B division people there and several from C who clearly wouldn't be able to handle it.

I don't think one of the services we are trying to provide is an avenue for whatever "adult" discussions you are wanting.

We don't (and won't) have any exclusive sections of the site.

How about a better search application for members? Like you can search into state and division?

I think I tried to find a way to do that a while ago, because people were asking for it. I might look again.

Is chat considered a separate entity from scioly.org? If they aren't, how much are they really connected? I don't think this is the place to complain about chat, just like chat probably isn't the best place to complain about the forums.

The chat is not hosted on a server that I have any control over. I have admin rights in the channel only because I made it. It is connected to us, but I mean it isn't the same place. There are no posted rules for chat because it is a more relaxed environment and there isn't much event discussion that goes on there. So even if you get banned for being annoying, it isn't like we are crippling your ability to study and ask people questions.

How about not letting other users register your nick as their chat name, then booting you off chat multiple times?

They should get banned if they are abusing that, but basically you should register your nick.

"tag" other users in posts, so they know to respond to it (so games like the lyrics game doesnt go unanswered for months)

If they want to follow a thread, they can subscribe to it :shrug:. I think it could be annoying if people could send notifications like that, haha.
