Off topic, but is the title supposed to be in French? If it is, the spelling should be "Non, Rien Je Ne Regrette Rien", which translates to basically the same thing you have.brobo wrote:Also, "Non, Rein Je Re Reggete Rein" loosely translates to "No, I have no regrets" which I find very ironic in this movie.

Re: Movie Reviews!
Well without knowing French I just copied it off of a different web page... I didn't even remember what it was called. It's a little frustrating. Whenever I get that song stuck in my head I can hear the music but the words sound all jumbled in my headAlphaTauri wrote:Off topic, but is the title supposed to be in French? Re: Movie Reviews!
Please, don't just put a rating, but a full review. Examplesoccerkid812 wrote:Eagle Eye 8/10
Red Eye 9/10
Flight Plan 9.5/10
Eagle Eye: 6/10
Eagle Eye had an interesting premise: what if computers got too smart? In this Sci-Fi thriller a supercomputer called "Eagle Eye" brings together two strangers to fulfill it's mysterious agenda. My favorite part of the movie is the not the story line but the story of how the characters meet up and the computer's ultimate plan, starting with "activation". However, past this point, it's slightly lacking in all areas: the characters aren't fully developed, the story line can become dry at points, and the movie is almost "boring" between action scenes. Even though there are no serious flaws the little bits pile up ultimately making this movie fall short of it's true potential.

Re: Movie Reviews!
I think I'll bump this thread:
Sucker Punch (2011)
Rating: 6.5/10
Sucker Punch is a classic Zack Snyder movie. It seems to be made on the premise that the trailer would make every man want to see it. Indeed, what man could resist a movie with attractive women battling dragons, robotic Germans, normal robots, orcs, and zeppelins. Somehow, though, the movie seems to fall apart. It seems to intend to be a mind-blowing movie, but what's supposed to blow your mind is easily figured out as soon as it happens. Now, it's a cool movie, kind of. The effects are really good, but I've finally seen a movie that's not worth it for the effects alone. The plot is far too dark to be a PG-13 movie, considering that the main characters are under threat of rape and murder for the entire movie. The idea that objectifying women just makes them stronger is almost whimsically incorrect, and if anyone thought it was true from this movie it would be a sad thing indeed.
Overall, it was pretty meh. If you like action movies with attractive women, then this is your movie. I think it's pretty good Friday-night fare, but nothing else.

Re: Movie Reviews!
Frozen
Rating: <1
I've had to sit through some pretty bad days of band. One of the worst days, was a day when we had to watch Frozen. Now, good movies will make you laugh, cry, think, etc. Frozen did none of that. I was not amused, entertained, touched, or moved by this movie in any way. Perhaps it was because while watching the movie, I was left with one question; what in the world is going on? Okay, maybe I just missed something, but I don't remember the movie giving any background on what exactly is going on. It's like if in the movie Click, they just started it when Michael was returning home with the remote. And many people's favorite aspect of the movie, the music, I personally found to be insignificant. The only thing keeping me from giving this movie a full out 0 is the fact that (thankfully) I didn't have to watch the entire thing, so I might have missed something that would've made this movie notable in any way (other than being completely overrated). But even at that, I doubt that the movie was going to make a 180, and even if it did, I had given up trying to pay any attention to it.
