Right then, onto more explanations:
Clue #3.
"V E U S M O A M B "
repeated over and over again along with
"right right right, up left down right right left"
one person recognizes the person the message was spoken by
Image
You guys solved this, just for completions sake: On a dvorak keyboard you take the directions to the initial letters, and you get an anagram for "quizbowl".
Now I actually had no clue BlueCobra (I believe it was blue...) used a very similar clue, I never read the assassinations roughly in the late 40s, I actually came up with the keyboard idea completely alone (well it was influenced from a clue from the 1st Layton game), so I was rather annoyed to find out that my idea had been done before. I came up with this one not long after #39, so I had it in the back burner for a long time, it was going to be my 3rd clue on #41.

Clue #4:
This one I already explained, they are nucleic acids that have a sequence correlating to amino acids, the 1 letter prefix of those spelled out most of "IdahoSciGuy".

Clue #5:
Brobo's clue, thank you brobo. (for the record, I did need new clue ideas, but I only asked brobo if I could use one of his because he mentioned on chat missing being involved in clue creating or solving).
robodude wrote: There were 13 back pieces.
The red pieces were a little harder... if you put them together just right, they spelled out "QUIZ". Try cutting them out and moving them around. ;)
Clue #6:
You guys solved this one, there were 74 spikes, which pointed to croman74.

Clue #7:

Another binary based one, you had to count the number of petals correctly (I made sure to correct what Alpha got wrong so it wasn't because of counting annoyance that you all were disadvantaged) and play the "Loves Me, Loves Me Not" game, each type of petal corresponded to the same colored petal. Or you could look at it just as which had even number or odd numbers of petals.
Odd -> Loves Me -> 1
Even -> Loves Me Not -> 0
I just assigned the 1s and 0s randomly to Loves Me, or Loves Me Not, but I should've done it the other way around, oh well.
21 blue -> 1
17 pink -> 1
14 light blue -> 0
15 purple -> 1
And 1101 in binary is 13. Pointing to East (It actually could've referenced quizbowl, but he was already dead so...)

Clue #8:

one of you met the man who spoke this 3rd quote briefly before in manilla (could not find any quotes that ended in an a)

(extra s so you could not solve if you thought each quote meant 1 letter in some sort of cipher)
Self Explanatory

Clue #9:
http://i55.tinypic.com/293915h.png
Yeah this was an easy one (I was rushed on time):
AlphaTauri wrote:The red numbers are (from left to right) 8, 3, 2. "Jenny's number", 867-5309, is from an old song...it's supposed to be the phone number of a girl named Jenny. If 832 is the "area code", the whole number would be 832-867-5309.
Edit: 832 is the area code for Houston, TX.
It was intended for robodude, but it probably was closer to robotman or rocketman, but you guys also had 4 protections and robodude is the most active in Assassinations.

Clue #10:
Shame you guys didn't even really work on this one, its by far my favorite, its a collection of internet memes, slow it down ~65% in audacity to get it to its original pitch:
http://www.wikiupload.com/D39U0UHPI7G10VA
The main creator behind each meme had their names spell out "Ble Cobra" targeting Blue Cobra. Search for the terms in Youtube, they're easily findable.
b - Ben Schulz - Leeroy Jenkins
l - Pants On The Ground - Larry Platt
u - (couldn't find one for u)
e - Edgar's Fail - Edgar (I really didn't want to use this one as its mean to the Kid, but I also didn't want to have 2 left out letters, and I couldn't find another e)

c - Keyboard Cat - Charlie Schmidt
o - Downfall - Oliver Hirschbiegel
b - Boom Goes the Dynamite - Brian Collins
r - Never Gonna Give You Up - Rick Astley (Yes I rickrolled you all :P)
a - Ebay - Alfred Yankovic

And the Self Clues:
#1
http://i52.tinypic.com/25po36p.png
Heh... this one was hard, probably even too hard for a 1st self clue, put all the circles into the 1st quadrant by reflecting them over the x and or y axis, and then do the same to the lines so that they run through the circles, and it is similar to this xkcd comic near the bottom:
http://xkcd.com/52/
52 is the reference to my username

#2
You guys decoded it correctly, it was a Sparrowhawk (specific species is not important) and there are 1806 of them, I don't want to reveal how this is solved here. Just search for those terms together in google and look in for a few pages, you will see why

#3 Thank you robodude:
"I can't pronounce this!"
Not vaporize, but the thing before it.
79
XKCD is what can't be pronounced, Vaporize is a reference to Ctrl-V as you correctly Identified, the thing before it means to use ctrl-U, which on xkcd pushes the Random button. I have no clue what the 79 is for, ask robodude.

Not cool for you to force this out of robodude, it goes against the spirit of the game zyzzyva, if I knew you were a cheater type like quizbowl, I might push for a 1 game ban for that.

And that is it, PM me your choice for Assassinator AlphaTauri.

I never really thought of it as cheating... I play the game as if it's always going on, and I try to get as much info as I can. But I guess you're right that I shouldn't have gone after brobo like that. That being said, it's his responsibility to keep his lips sealed- I would have dropped it after a few minutes but since I got a clue, well...

I still don't get the second identity clue (or any, actually, but you explained the other ones)- is it a Lewis and Clark reference?

Other than all that though, it was a fairly good game. If everyone had been more active, I think it would have been better- not necessarily your fault, Random, though if the clues were a tad easier I think it would have been a great game. (It also would have been better with proper grammar, but you knew that already)

Well the hard clues didn't make a huge difference in the long run since it didn't reach 6, and I'd argue at least 3 of them that killed people were of appropriate difficulty.
For the record, I actually Pm'd both lllazar and sweetcoop as the Assassinator to try to get them more involved part way through.

Eh, not quite.
The first part is right. The reason XKCD is named "XKCD" is because XKCD is a string of consonents that can't be pronounced. Other than that, there's no meaning.
cnt+V for vaporize, as zyzzyva says. Well, the thing before V is U, and (this is where you got it a little mixed up random) ctrl+U is "View Source". Line 79 of the source code for XKCD is the random comic button.

A little hard, I know, but I wanted to make it hard since originally it was supposed to be a clue for zyzzyva only, and I wasn't supposed to give one away.

Hrmm I'm quite sure you simplified that in our private chat...

Also Starpug had an interesting rule suggestion:
"A rule proposition for you
"Any attempt to establish any sort of committee with the intent to control the way assassination games are played will be met with a 3 game banishment""
