No, not yet.

Though, I think once the NY committee sees that the nationals list is exactly the same, they may choose to follow precedent.
ornithology, forestry, entomology, triple E, green generation, water quality, dynamic planet (lakes & rivers), awesome aquifers, meteorology, robot arm, write it do it. :)

At the same time, I think it would be nice if they changed things up. We need something to offset the people who did this event last year.

That's true. Is there a possibility there might be a big chance to the rules this year then since the list is the same?

Edit: Btw, on the Ornithology wiki page, is the Species of Birds section going to stay and merely incomplete, or is it supposed to be moved to the 2010 Bird List page? o.o I'd like to add stuff to the database but I'm not sure where to put it.

My opinion is that we should remove the 'species of birds' section and keep specific bird information to the bird list page. We could also eventually have separate pages for each order/family, which contain info about each species. Anyone agree or object?

I've also moved the bird list to "2011 Bird List".

I agree, but in that case the bird list page will need some reformatting. IMO, giving each bird an info box like the one for the Black-Bellied Whistling Duck on the main ornithology page would be preferable to the current setup. If no one objects, I'll likely change the list sometime tomorrow.

I don't think the bird list should be changed. I think there should be pages for each order (or family for passerines) and these pages should have specific bird info, complete with infoboxes. The bird list isn't to provide in-depth information, but to make it easy to compare birds and to see all the birds on one page.

EDIT: What I mean is that the bird list could have information about ID, and some very basic info about other aspects of each bird, but it could go into better depth on a separate page.

*wild wikimod appears*
What I am about to say is similar to what amerikestral just said. I just would like to say how pug and I would like larger pages divided.
We would prefer each page to have subpages (look at Meteorology Wiki) so for your birds it would be like a page for Anseriformes with all the sub species or birds or whatever
than a whole seperate page for Galliformes etc
than a link to the correct page for the bird on the list
Edit the Wiki.
