You should know about that stuff, like with the neuromuscular junction and all.tmanneo wrote:I know there really isn't a definitive answer to this question and it's probably been answered a million times, but what is the extent to which we should know certain things?
I mean for example, the contraction of muscles. Is it enough to know that the myosin pulls on the actin? Or should we know down to the neurotransmitters that cause the contraction and the proteins that help the ATP bind to the myosin heads?

Does anyone have an idea when they are going to update the WIki for this year's events? Which books are you using to study for Anatomy this year? Any specific websites or books that you could recommend would be great!

Re: Anatomy B/C
I updated the wiki with some basic info for this year's systems today, I also restructured the page to current and past systems now that 2 of the systems with info on the page are outdated. I also put each of the systems in its own spoiler, as it was getting very long.robotman09 wrote:The wiki is updated as people add more information throughout the yearmali_16 wrote:Does anyone have an idea when they are going to update the WIki for this year's events?

I haven't gotten to updating the sections on the systems, but I, or someone else will do so soon. The respiratory system just has filler text, and the endocrine system really needs an update anyways.

And you took away my spoilers >:3paleonaps95 wrote:I updated some stuff on respiratory, but it's not much yet.
They don't really make it harder to edit paleonaps, but I'm leaving it gone on principle.

I felt it was easier without it. I'll put it back as soon as it has some substance.

Re: Anatomy B/C
I can understand those changes very well. I always found it odd that the buccinator wasn't included, and that the thoracolumbar fascia was. The diaphragm is no surprise because of the respiratory system being added.
