Here's a riddle: There is a village where the barber shaves all those and only those who do not shave themselves. Who shaves the barber?

@yyy4401: Clarification please? :o
ornithology, forestry, entomology, triple E, green generation, water quality, dynamic planet (lakes & rivers), awesome aquifers, meteorology, robot arm, write it do it. :)
A cone of depression occurs when you drop your scoop of ice cream on the ground on a hot summer day.

You are yyy4401
The barber shaves anyone who doesn't shave themselves. If the barber shaves himself, he doesn't, and if he doesn't, he does. It has to be a paradox. Unless there is a robot who shaves the barber?
There is an island in a lake that is in a remote part of the country. There has never been a bridge connecting the island to the mainland. Every day a tractor and wagon gives hay rides around the island. Puzzled as to how the tractor had gotten onto the island, you ask around and find out that the tractor was not transported to the island by boat or by air. Nor was it built on the island. How did the tractor get there?

Paradox. There is no such barber.
EDIT: Oops! Hid answer.

Hey! That's not fair! Now it looks like you got the answer first :(

Anyways, I teleported it.
Either a) The bridge connected not to the mainland, but to another island, where the tractor was either build or transported to, or b) this is a prehistoric tractor that was driven on to the island, which was at the time a peninsula. The peninsula broke off and became an island with the tractor already on it, or c) It was like the Native Americans coming to North America. There was a land bridge during the Ice Age. :D
EDIT: Oops! Used code instead of hide.

The tractor could have been driven onto a small mountain, and then the lake formed around it.
Edit: Hidden

winneratlife and zyzzyva are correct. The barber riddle is a form of Russel's paradox.

winneratlife beat me to the answer to zyzzva's riddle. :(

Edit: Or not. Well, those were my best guesses.

Nope again. Hint: The tractor was built after the island had formed.

FueL: None of the answers have been correct, you've still got time.
