The judges had a lot of flexibility in how they conducted the event. Like in the 2008 rules, the judge administered an "interview or written test" with a couple questions about the mathematical and physical principles of sound. So sometimes you just talked about your instrument, sometimes you took an exam.blue cobra wrote:I hope Sounds of Music is in C next year. That seems like a fun event. Is it also about music theory, or just making and playing your instruments and orally explaining, basically, how they work and the physics that make them work?
