does SLHS have an academic decathlon team?

yes there is a acdec team at SLHS but it takes up alllll of your time. and you study all day every day like starting a month before competition. however they are state champs but its also really hard to get in but i heard it's pretty cool. i just don't have time between scioly and orch.

Yes we have AcDec. Don't join it! It will STEAL YOUR LIIIIIFFFEE. Or so I've heard. It's really good though. But they wear corny orange hockey jerseys... BUT, they're going to nationals from 5A... whatever that means.
Also, yes, both divisions have the same amount of events.

Are you kidding me? They start studying for acdec 3 years before competition. That's ALL they ever do.

followed by ornithology even though i hate organizing the book

I hear fossils is a tough event because rememebring each type of fossil is hard.
