Re: Dropping Sand
go slow and keep the sand pouring in the bucket. inform your partner if the bucket is tilted, always keep it level and still I don't believe that a tilting bucket would affect anything as the center of mass is still in line with the chain and it is loading only from one point. its still important t...

Re: Silica Gel Beads
My team hasn't been using silica gel beads and has been able to get a rather competitive efficiency but I heard that it silica gels can shave off a few tenths of a gram. Depending on costs, I might try using them in the near future. To any team that does use them, do you have any recommendations as...

Re: Boomilever height
So I'm new to science olympiad this year and I was put in Boomilever. For division c I'm getting that the maximum height may only be 15 cm, but I'm not sure if that's the ideal height to build at because if it bends a little below the 15 cm line you will be done testing right? So basically I wanted...

Re: Ohio 2019
I have no idea either. Honestly expected a higher placement than 3rd in an invitational which did not have many competitive teams competing. ...Troy, MI... Yes Troy, MI is a good team that shouldn’t be placing 3rd based off of previous results To me, it looks like they did not bring a full team as ...

Re: Codebusters C
For solving the timed question, can you get it checked when you still have 1 or 2 errors (as often I can't think of the last word with two missing letters in it) or do you have to fully solve the problem?
