Just a wild guess here, could it be Eat_Sleep_SO because eat refers to the bread, sleep rhymes with mareep, and after all, this is a SO (science olympiad) website?

If I'm not mistaken, vitreous luster also refers to the fact that the mineral appears glassy (doesn't have to be transparent, only reflective), which could describe the linked picture. Hopefully that helped.

I heard that an early draft of the rules will be released in late July, is this true? And if so, any idea where to find it?
