Is there a limit to the number of motors that you can check in? The rules are not clear about this, it just states, "All motors that meet specifications will be collected at check-in and will be available to the team only for their official flights".

There is no maximum, just remember, you can only use the ones you check in before you fly. Although, I wouldn't see any reason to check in more than say, 3.

For the build part of It's About Time, are we allowed to use more than one device (eg. one stops keeping time, then I release the other mechanism to allow second device to keep time)? thank you in advanced
