I was just assigned to this event and I have no idea about the actual construction of the car. I know most of the electricity and magnetism behind the event, but the construction is ticking me off. Anybody have any suggestions? Where should I start?

Now for States at West Point...that's a whole different ball game! Teams will probably get very close to the target and make sure their distances are at a minimum.

By a lot. Many of the teams weren't even remotely close to the target! I'm assuming the test was the determining factor.

That Optics test was moderately difficult. It's funny how my partner and I never used it (only for a few questions). Almost everyone missed the target on the laser shoot, so I don't think it was weighed so much. Nonetheless, my team pulled off Second Place at Regionals!
