Re: Indiana Science Olympiad

I'm not sure why they gave up their spot, but last year they said they were going and didn't show up so I'm glad at least that they gave it up before nats.

We hope to represent Indiana well. All of us are pretty excited to be going and want to do the best that we can.

Thanks for all of the support

Re: Indiana Science Olympiad

I see

So did they mark off the box then during the competition or something? If so, do you know when that was?

Thanks to all of you for your help.

Re: Indiana Science Olympiad

okay well in the rules it says that teams should have "copies of their graphs" which implies they may not get them back and should still have the original graphs so that really isn't a reason to take the event out. I can understand though about the tiers being messed up. But like really almost half ...

Re: Remote Sensing

Hey guys

So I just won first at the Indiana State Competition in Remote Sensing and I thought I'd let you know that almost all of our images were from the USGS website so I'd check those out.

Also we had a ton of averages and standard deviations to figure out at the end of our test.
Overall it ...

Re: Indiana Science Olympiad

Hey so I'm from Bloomington South and we were all wondering if anyone knows why trajectory was taken out? We were told it was because students didn't get their graphs back and that the even was confined to a small area, but the state coordinators won't tell us any real reasons why. I don't know if ...

Re: Dynamic Planet

To smartkid22,

Pretty much all of the table you posted was correct. I only found a few errors and most were things you said you weren't sure of.

1) for volcano type, stratovolcanoes are typically andesitic and found at subduction zones so they should be in the middle column
2) In the third column ...
